Familiar Face in the 2025 World Series
Great Falls Voyagers’ Alum will play in the World Series for the Los Angeles Dodgers.
The 2025 World Series between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Toronto Blue Jays is slated to begin on Friday, October 24th. As baseball fans everywhere get ready to watch the most anticipated series of the year, the Great Falls community prepares to watch it from a different lens — one that recognizes a familiar face. Alex Call, a 2016 Third-Round Draft pick by the Chicago White Sox and Great Falls Voyagers' Alum will play in the World Series for the Los Angeles Dodgers.
In 27 games with the Voyagers in 2016, Call batted .308 with 33 hits, including 3 HRs. Call worked his way up through the Minor League Baseball system, and also spent time in the Cleveland Indians' and Washington Nationals' organizations before getting traded to the Dodgers in July.
This year during the regular season with Los Angeles, Call played 4 games and batted .750 with 3 hits. He looks to get playing time in the outfield as the Dodgers begin their series tonight against Toronto.
